You get what you're given, it's all how you use it

Oh man, this is finals week! The finals start tomorrow!! On Tuesday, it is AP Calculus and AP French. Wednesday: H Economics and H Physics. Thursday: AP Eng Lit and AVID.
And Friday, the start of a whole new semester. Clean state!

I am so scared about tomorrow. I have been doing some hardcore studying for French...right now I have an 89% in French and in order for me to get an "A" I can only miss five questions out of 75 questions on the test...I have to get an "A" in the test!! French is my best subject....there is no way I am getting a "B" in that class...no way.

And I have an A in Calculus too...94%....so I hope I don't mess up in the final...I am really nervous about tomorrow.
All my finals are gonna be stressful...all of them...I was all confident...but not anymore. There is a lot I need to study...so I am gonna go and study.


I finished reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen...I liked it! It was pretty good! A bit different from the other books I have read by her...but definitely good.

Today was amazing!!! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
I walked in the rain! That was my second time walking in the rain. I remember walking in the rain in 7th grade, but I didn't remember it being so much fun!!
I got off from school, and I left the classroom, and what do you see...it's raining! And not drizzling...but it wasn't hardcore rain...but you know, it was raining. And I don't know what happened. I was just like to my friend, Pat, "Hey, you wanna walk home?" And she was like "Yeah! If you want to!"
Oh man, it was truly an amazing experience. I was kind of bummed out in French, but rain made it all better.
It's supposed to rain the whole week! I am so happy. I won't be able to walk home tomorrow because I have to stay for Physics tutoring and then it gets late by the time tutoring is done...but maybe on Friday!

I got home, changed, had tea and dinner, and watched an episode of Buffy!

Dayum! It's been ages since I updated.
Been busy...and haven't been online that much.
School's going good...I like my classes...My favorite class is AP French. I was really scared at first...but now, it's actually fun. The teacher is extremely nice, and likes me. Ms. Slaughter told her some good things about me. =]
AP English is challenging. We are gonna be doing poetry the whole year, and reading novels, and we are gonna start Shakespeare next semester. Currently, I am reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde for English. And then I am reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman with my cousin.
AP Calculus...it's easy for right now...teacher is nice...but I am sure it's gonna get harder.
And other classes Economics, Physics, and AVID are fine. Not very challenging or hard.
What else...I am gonna be starting on my college essays soon...I have three different essays to do. Two for UC's and one for Harvard and NYU.
And then I am taking SAT's on October  3rd...hopefully I will get a score of 2000. I will be happy.
And then I gotta apply for financial aid, get application fee waivers, get my accumulative GPA, and teacher recommendation letters.
I gotta get all the applications in by November.

That's about it...nothing else new with me. I saw The Wedding Singer and The Illusionist...liked both of them. Adam Sandler looked so young...amazing.

My dentist appointment did not take long at all! Only 20 minutes...ha...they just gave me a cleaning! NO CAVITIES! WOOT!
So yea...that was my amazing appointment.

Yesterday, I started watching Never Been Kissed (I still need to finish it)...I was just flipping through channels...and it was about to start...so I taped it...I like that movie...I think it would go on my favorite movie list.

School starts in exactly one week. I am nervous.
I got my senior pics. Only few are good pics.

I don't think I am gonna have straight A's this semester. It makes me really sad. I really messed up last semester...and this semester it's not as bad, but it's not what I had hoped either.

I don't think I have an "A" in Math Analysis anymore, I think I am gonna have a "B!"
Ugh.

Why must I be so stupid in math??

I am so glad this week is over.
I feel so relieved, all the projects are done, and they went really well too.
All that hard work, staying up late at nights, paid off.

I didn't have to take my Chemistry final which was awesome! She said have an "A" in the class, so I don't need to take the final. On the final day, we are gonna make ice-cream! Fun fun.

Next week, finals start. I am most nervous about my Math Final. I know I will do well in my French and AP English final. I really hope I still have an "A" in my AP English. That "A" was like 5 weeks ago...anything can happen in 5 weeks.

Ah....only 4 more days, and school's overrr!!

That makes me so happy!!

So I have an A in French, History, Chemistry, AP English, and Math Analysis

And I have two B's, (AVID & Ceramics), but I will bring them up!

Ahh...I am happy...that report card made my day.

Morning was depressing, I took SAT Subject Tests.....ugh. It was baddd.

Today I figured out my classes for next year with Mr. Harada, my counselor.
So, this is what I am taking next year:
- AP English Literature
- AP Calculus
- AP French
- H Physics
- H Government/Economics
- AVID Senior Seminar

I wanna take Psychology too, but since I can't have more than 6 classes in my schedule, I am gonna have to take Government/Econ during the summer.

So, this is what I am planning to do.
First, I was gonna take Gov/Econ in the adult school during summer...but Mr. Harada was like he wouldn't want me to do that because adult school is for people who take the class in the school but they don't finish it or don't pass it. So it's their second time taking the class. I wouldn't get much anything out of it. So, he was like I should consider taking the classes at a community college which is better because I will actually learn something and get college/high school credits.

So, he was nice enough to go to www.smc.edu and check out if they have the class, and they do! Except Government is called Political Science in college. But there's a big problem. A HUGE problem.

If I am gonna take Economics at adult school during summer, that class is from Monday - Thursday from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. And the good thing is you don't have to come everyday. But you have to come twice a week, so that's not bad.

But this is where the bad part comes in.
VERY BAD PART. I JUST NOTICED IT, AND I AM GONNA HAVE TO GO TO MR.HARADA AGAIN AND TALK TO HIM.

I am not out of school till June 23rd...or 22nd.

I can't take Economics in SMC because they start on 18th June while I am still in school. (THIS ONE WAS PERFECT.  8 - 10!) And there's another session starting 23rd June, but it's in the evening!

I can't take Political Science. Same reason, start on the 18th. Secons session does start in the afternoon and it's good, but then I will be missing my adult school class.

I was looking in the SMC classes, and they are offering Psychology too from July 2 - August 9 from 10:15 - 12:20 P.M...but taking the bus from all the way there to Hami and that's gonna be catching two buses!!...what if I get late to Hami....damn. Actually, I am bound to get late!DAMN. DAMN. This really sucks, and I need to talk to Mr.Harada. NOT EVEN ONE TIME IS PERFECT!! Well, this kinda is...but ughhh.

WHAT AM I GONNA DOO!?!!?!

WHY CAN'T GOVERNMENT AND ECONOMICS BE AN ELECTIVE...INSTEAD OF GRADUATION REQUIREMENT!!!!!

I will be updating my journal soon...for right now I have no idea what to say.
So I need to think about what I wanna say, then I will update and hopefully it will continue.

SO glad I am done with AP English Exam!
Ah, what a relief!

There is definitely something about Nicholas Sparks and Alice Hoffman that once I start reading their books, I can't put them down and end up finishing them.
Man, what is it about them?
Yesterday, I started reading Spark's latest book Dear John and ended up finishing it, I just couldn't put it down.
And today I got Hoffman's recent book Skylight Confessions! Can't wait to read it!
I will probably start on it today.

This week is hectic...a lot of work.

Hello dearies!

Today was a pretty good day!
First off, today I went to my counselor after school, and got my schedule fixed for spring semester which begins next Friday.
I switched my AP US History class to Honors History and Drafting to Ceramics.
I asked my counselor if it's wise to switch from AP to Honors, and he asked my grade in the class, I told him it's a "C" right now, but I am not really confident about the final, so he was like, then it's good to switch to honors.
So, I feel so much better.
And I wanted to take photo, and drop Drafting, but there was no class available during 1st period, it was during 2nd period....so I was like forget it, because I didn't want my whole schedule changing around. So I am happy with my classes.
And I am so glad about my AP English class. I have been doing so well in it, in my essays at least. I have been getting Bs or B pluses. That makes me feel really confident about myself, and that's why I am not planning to drop AP English because I see myself improving. :)
Mr.Isom is such a great teacher, YES AIRN, I SAID IT! hehe
But yeah, on one of my essays, I got an "A" and Mr.Isom wanted to keep it. =]
And he put one of my B+ essays on the wall. YA YA! I just saw it today, made my day.  :)

Something weird is happening

I just don't want to....I mean I will go for 30 minutes, and check my mail and livejournal
I find computer so boring now...ha
